      the Beast...

•  When I walked the sandy land, close to Saidia beach, I knew I could design a great links course ! Halfway through the project,I was so happy about it, I invited Tom Doak to come and play it. He was writing the Confidential guide to rate golf courses around the world.

Finally, his co-author Ran Morissett made the trip with Joe Andriole. 

  FIRST RECOGNITION :  Two golf architecture experts are coming from the US to play my course; I didn't pay anything. All I did was describing my work and sending them pictures from time to time.

  SECOND RECOGNITION : Their opinion !

Ran said to me " in term of design,it is perfect" ;  I had done great but because the surroundings were not so good, Teelal would be a 7 on the Doak scale".

It means if I had a better environnement, it could be ranked higher !

  7/10 is an excellent rating .

Loch Lomond ,Trump international and Renaissance club in Scotland are 7. 

Waterville and Doonbeg in Ireland are 7

 In the US, Bandon dunes ,Forest dunes , Tobacco road and Spyglass hill are 7 too !!
